Albertina Carri, director, producer and scriptwriter, stands out for her versatility and constant research spanning several genres. Exploring a vast array of subjects, ranging from Film Noir to Documentary, bordering on fiction, pornographic melodrama and family drama, she currently works and lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she was born in 1973.

Her works include several short films, TV films and five feature films: NO QUIERO VOLVER A CASA (2000), LOS RUBIOS (2003), GÉMINIS (Quinzaine des Réalisateurs, Cannes - 2005), LA RABIA (Berlinale – Panorama 2008) and CUATREROS (Berlinale – Forum 2017). She is the founder of Asterisco, International LGBTIQ FF and also helped to consolidate the concept of Nuevo Cine Argentina.
